Is trusting yourself to be your complete self without holding back and letting the other person accept everything that you are... Here is my favorite quote from Souza, "love as though you have never been hurt before".

Usually, no, but I treasure those moments when I carve time out for myself and my family.

waking up in the morning, a hot shower, healthy food in my body, yoga, the sunset, trees = lots of them, birds singing, watching the waves of the ocean roll to shore, stewart+brown clothes, quiet, peace, love, my hubbie, my cat, the sunrise, a full moon, stars, fresh clean air to breath

So, I have been trying to eat more healthy foods and my husband is not on board at all! I make dinner and he calls it bird seed! He wont eat wheat flour and refuses to cut out red meat. It is becoming quite the hot topic. My two step children also refuse to eat anything other than candy. I am at a loss....

1.) I believe I am here to make peoples lives more aesthetically pleasing. To enrich ones senses. To bring spaces to life.
2.) I love nature. I believe that one can find beauty in most everything we lay our eyes on and partake in ones senses. I subscribe to the Frank Llyod Wright philosophy of nature being the beauty and buildings being secondary as a complimentary component. I love architecture and the complete process of constructing. I believe that people change the face of our landscape and that buildings are a large part of civilizations footprint here on earth. I love our planet and wish that every person would respect it. The buildings that I wish to design will be an apparent view to natures beauty as well as leaving a small footprint. I believe that we are a nation of waste and I want to use my degree in design to limit waste in construction.
3.) My ideal job description would be to create spaces for people that are aesthetically pleasing as well as earth friendly. I want to devote my life to constructing homes that use: recycled materials for finish selection; solar panels; energy efficient appliances; recycled insulation; no voc paint. In my perfect life these would be the only options available to people for construction. I am going to devote my life to making pre-existing or new construction as friendly to nature and the earth as humanly possible. I know that not everything humans do in their lifetime can be perfect, but I want to give it everything that I can to ensure that I meet and exceed my expectations of reducing human waste at construction projects by the materials I will use and allow.
Thank you for your time and consideration in reading this. It was great to be able to sit down and write out my passion and goals.
